Rebecca Berkan, RN, BSN, CEN

Health educator and assistant coach

 

Ms. Berkan graduated from UW Madison School of Nursing in 2003 with a Bachelors Degree.  She spent two years on a general cardiac unit before transferring to the Emergency Department at Meriter-UnityPoint Health where she has worked for the past 10 years. She is actively involved in the Meriter-UnityPoint organization by serving on her department's Unit Council and the hospital's Clinical Advancement Council. She is certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC. She has a passion for taking care of people and always thrives for excellence.

 

Becky enjoys spending time with her husband and their 12 year old mutts, Luna and Arlo. She is an avid distance runner and has plans to tackle her first triathlon in the near future. When time allows, annual trips to Door County and Puerto Rico are also on her agenda.
